At the autumn synod it was agreed to invite Elaine Lindridge to continue as District Evangelism Enabler for a further 5 years. It was noted how many have benefited from Elaine’s ministry across the district and there was excitment at what God has instore for both Elaine and the distirct over the next 5 years.
Rob Wylie, a Fresh Expressions worker in the North Shields and Whitley Bay Circuit thanked Elaine for her ‘big dreams and as a co-conspirator in challenging and encourging mission, fresh expressions and pioneer ministry in churches and circuits.’
Pat Brooks a supernumerary in the District, added her thanks to Elaine for her journying with not only herself but with many others as she encouraged them in mission and evangelism.
Elaine said in response, ‘Thank you for inviting me to continue to work here with you, because here is a place where evangelism isn’t a dirty word and people want to share their faith with others and joining in the mission of God.’
