At autumn synod our District Evangelism Enabler, Elaine Lindridge challenged to remember the faces we see all the time. to pray for them and to speak to them about the good news when we are given chance.
She also spoke of the work of Together. At present there are 10 teams looking to work across the district. Activities will include holiday clubs, craft sessions, prayer walks and community shops. All of these will be resourced locally by people and churches and wider from teams of people coming to support the work.
Revd. Steven Wild will be visiting some of these projects during the week as part of his presidential year. He has a heart for mission and seeking to see many come to know Jesus.
